SEO Content Writing: SEO content writing is the content that is written specifically for the website in order to make site visitors read and understand the offered services. The web copy should be appealing enough to encourage visitors to place an order on your website. This kind of content is generally promotional. It must include the prime keywords however it should be written for the site visitors and should not include abnormal stuffing of the keywords.

SEO Article Writing: SEO article writing is a form of the copywriting. Article’s are written for third-party platforms to drive audience to your website. It doesn’t necessarily promotional instead it is usually informational. Professional article writing services ensure that the content they draft must be unique and follow Google’s guidelines so it may get crawled fast.

A copywriter is typically trying to write about products or services in a manner that will persuade people to buy them. If the site goal is to sell dog food, the copywriter would write about the features and benefits of the products offered in order to persuade you to use this brand of dog food.

The dog food site might include articles on dog nutrition, exercise, etc. The idea with this is that people may want to learn about dog related topics, find one of the articles through search, find it useful, then decide to buy the dog food. If new articles are added regularly this also gives people a reason to come back to the site. This also helps keep the brand name in their minds.

When writing with SEO in mind one wants to write in a manner that will make the page and site more findable via search. I think of search as match-making. The end users searches for a term or phrase, then Google presents him/her with a list of pages that seem to be the best match.

If you think that the people you want to visit the site will search on "dog nutrition" you need to include that phrase (and other phrases they might use such as "dog diet" on the page(s) discussing this topic.

Google's algorithm considers many factors. A well respected older site with incoming links will show up higher in the results than a newer less informative site. So will a properly coded site. A writer focusing SEO will want to learn more about the various factors that come into play. But he/she should focus primarily on writing high quality content that appeals to humans with an interest in the subject. Google is clever.
