The Blogger mobile app allows you to post, edit, save, and view your blog posts. Anyone with Android 5.0 and up can download the app.

Important: To post with the Blogger mobile app, you'll need to already have a Google Account and a blog created from a computer.

You can publish posts from anywhere, anytime with the app. You can save your post as a draft and edit it on a computer later, or edit your draft from the app on your computer. To change settings, layouts, or check your stats, you can use the Blogger dashboard on web. 

What you can do on the app

When you sign in with your Google Account, you can browse, edit, and delete published and draft posts. If you have admin or author permissions to multiple blogs, you can switch between blogs. 

With the mobile app, you can:

  • Create and publish new posts
  • Save posts as a draft to finish later
  • Share a link to your post using Android Share
  • Open a blog or post in a browser
  • Switch between accounts and blogs
  • Visit the Blogger Help Center 
  • Send in-app feedback

Create, edit, & publish your posts

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Blogger app Blogger.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account if asked.
  3. In the bottom right, tap Create post Edit.
  4. Enter a title, and draft your post body.
    Tip: You can use the toolbar to bold, italicize, and underline text and add photos. 
  5. To update your post body, in the top right, tap Update Checkmark.
  6. To categorize your post and tell others what it’s about, enter a label in the Labels field. 
    Tip: You can add more than one label to a post by separating each with a comma.  
  7. In the top right, tap Publish Send.

Save your post as a draft

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Blogger app Blogger.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account if asked.
  3. Create a new post. 
  4. When you’re finished with your post but aren’t ready to publish, in the top left, tap More More
    • To delete your draft, tap Discard.
    • To save your draft, tap Save as draft.

Switch blogs

You can switch between multiple blogs created with the same Google Account.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Blogger app Blogger.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account if asked.
  3. At the top, tap your blog’s name. 
  4. You can tap the blog you want to switch to from a drop-down list of all your blogs. 

View your blog or post with browser

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Blogger app Blogger.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account if asked.
  3. Select one of the following:
    • View a post: Tap your post and then More More and thenView post.
    • View your blog: Tap your profile Profile and thenView your blog.

Add photos to a post 

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Blogger app Blogger.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account if asked.
  3. Open a post.
  4. Add a photo: 
    • Take a photo: Tap Camera Cameraand thenTake a photo and thenOk Done.
    • Add an existing photo: Tap Images  and thenSelect a photo.

Tip: You can also add labels to photos in your blog posts. 

Switch accounts

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Blogger app Blogger.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account if asked.
  3. Tap your profile Profileand thenSelect the account you want to switch to.
  4. To add an account, tap Add an account Addand thenSign in to your Google Account.

What’s available only on the web

Since the mobile app helps you edit and publish your posts, some features are only available on the Blogger dashboard. 

From the website, you can:

  • Change the theme and layout of your blog
  • Manage comments, AdSense, and Pages
  • Adjust your settings
  • View your blog’s stats
